We have some exciting news to share! Metro Beauty Academy has partnered with our friends at Eurosports in Coopersburg and Valley Social Magazine, along with other local businesses around the area, in an amazing fundraiser to raise a combined donation of $10,000 for the Get in Touch Foundation (GIT). GIT’s mission is to encourage young women to “Get In Touch” with their bodies in the organization’s crusade against breast cancer. The Get In Touch Girls’ Program & Daisy Wheel® breast health initiative was developed to educate young women in grades 5-12 on the importance of and how to do a self breast exam — for life. Stop by Metro and make a donation of $20-$55 to receive raffle ticket(s) for your chance to win a Limited Edition Pink Vespa LX 150 motor scooter and to help us to meet our pledge. Cruise around the Valley in true style on one of these babies; we know you want to! Raffle tickets will be available from now until October 15. For every raffle ticket that you receive, you will also receive a pink Metro Beauty Academy keychain and voucher for a complimentary haircut/style on a future visit. Between November 1-December 30, each raffle ticket stub will also be redeemable for 25% off a full service treatment. (Valid only for one guest, raffle ticket stub must be redeemed at time of payment for the discount to be applied. No other discounts can be combined with this offer.) For every $20 donation, you’ll receive 1 raffle ticket; for every $55 donation, you’ll receive 3 tickets. Your raffle also puts you in the running for the second place prize: a beautiful pink “Sisterhood of Hope” Longaberger Basket, travel mug and Horizon of Hope scarf valued at $114.
