Our Story

Opened in 2007, Metro Beauty Academy was created with one goal in mind: to produce the best, most skilled stylists in the beauty industry.

Faced with a challenge to find qualified cosmetologists, businessman Gary Menzies and Chad Schneider decided it was time to take matters into their own hands. It wasn’t long before Metro Beauty Academy began expanding, adding programs in Esthetics and Educator Training.

By 2011, less than five years after opening the custom-built facility, Metro had outgrown its capacity and an addition was put on the building. This new space allowed for the inclusion of a Massage Therapy program, as well as a Makeup Education Workshop.

Metro Beauty Academy continues to grow each and every day. Our goal is to help our students grow too.
